About the game
Bat Cannon is the story of Flutter, the youngest of the Demon King's bats from Gate Guard. Flutter wants to fly like his big brothers, but his wings are still too small — so he practices by riding a cannon. You earn coins for every meter you fly, and spend them upgrading the cannon and gear to go even farther.
There are four upgrades: Cannon Power, Jelly Coating, Rocket Booster and Wing Growth. The shop shows your expected distance before and after each upgrade, so you always know how much farther it will take you. Flutter's wings visibly grow with every Wing Growth level, and flags in the ground mark your best and last runs so you can see how much farther you went.
Beat distance goals from 50 m outside the gate to 3000 m at the Demon King's castle for bonus coins. The farther you fly, the more the scenery changes — Green Meadow, Deep Forest Trail, Sand Canyon, Frozen Snowfield, Ashen Volcano and the Demon King's Road — and if you shoot up high enough, you break through the clouds into the starry sky. Ride the mushroom trampolines and bonus cannons, and dodge the mud and thorn bushes. Ice in the Frozen Snowfield lets you slide without losing speed, and geysers in the Ashen Volcano blast you high into the sky.
How to play
- Launch
- Press the screen (or mouse) and drag back, then let go to fly the other way. The farther you pull, the stronger the shot. Pull all the way and a ring appears in front of the cannon — release when it matches the dotted circle for a Perfect launch with 12% more speed.
- Rocket Booster
- While flying or rolling, tap the screen (or the 🚀 button) to shoot up and forward again. You can use it as many times as you've upgraded it.
- Glide
- After buying Wing Growth, hold the 🦇 button while falling to glide slowly. It recharges every time you bounce.
- Start over
- Tap the ↺ button at the bottom of the shop twice to reset your coins, upgrades and records.
- Keyboard (PC)

Guide
- 💥 Cannon Power
- Faster launches. The booster gets stronger with the cannon's speed too. The cannon gets thicker and turns gold as it levels up.
- 🟢 Jelly Coating
- A coat of jelly from his slime friend Squishy makes Flutter bouncy. He loses less speed when bouncing, bounces higher and rolls farther. The jelly changes color every level.
- 🚀 Rocket Booster
- More extra boosts in the air or on the ground. The best value early on — and Flutter gets a rocket pack on his back.
- 🦇 Wing Growth
- The baby bat's wings grow, so he glides longer and falls more slowly while gliding. The more he bounces on jelly, the bigger the effect.
Tips
- Early on, buying Rocket Booster level 1 first adds a lot of distance.
- Use the booster right before you hit the ground or right before you stop rolling to go the farthest.
- An angle between 40° and 50° works well. Pull all the way back and release when the ring lines up for a Perfect.
- The result screen shows how many upgrades you can afford — visit the shop as soon as you have the coins.
- In the Frozen Snowfield, roll onto the ice to slide without stopping. In the Ashen Volcano, aim for the geysers.
